Wild Flower

Good morning everyone, I'm here today to share a few more projects that I have done with the Kaisercraft 'Wildflower' range.
On a weekend away recently with some wonderful scrapping friends I created this layout as a bit of a challenge as I really struggle with layouts that are very minimal. So using very little I have focused on the photos of my beautiful Zahli.

I covered this gorgeous chipboard heart from ScrapFX with Kaisercraft mist 'Charcoal' and the title from 2Crafty. Simple and done.

My next layout is using  the butterflies from the Kaisercraft wooden elements and some stickers from the kit. A bit of stencilling in the background and a perfect title coloured with some Lindy Stamp Gangs spray.

Thanks to the girls that have entered our monthly challenge and the DT girls for their inspiration. You still have some time to enter Mel's double page challenge.

Enjoy your special day as we remember all the things that we are greatful for and the people who fought for our country so that we can live in the wonderful place we do.

I have been enjoying quite a lot of time scrapping over the school holidays which has been very relaxing! I'm back again this month with another Layout I have done using the Kaisercraft Island Escape Collection.

I found this picture of myself that had been taken on the way to one of our Inverloch holidays. I thought it would go well with this paper range.

I have used quite a lot of the patterned paper to make up my background, I have then added quite a few of the stickers from the Island Escape sticker sheet.

The net looking wooden chippy I have used is from The Dusty Attic called Fish net, I have then used some of the Colour Blast Embossing Powder in Just Blue over it, I really love how this colour turned out on the chippy - a perfect match.
I then used some of the Teal Glitter paper and my Kaisercraft circle die to add some more texture to my page. This die I use a lot, its very versatile and I put it on a lot of my Layouts.

Check out the great range of Die's and stencils Jo has for sale at

My Good Times words down the bottom of the page is also a wooden chippy that I have covered in some of the Metallic Gilding Wax in Frosted Aqua, I then applied a layer of Ranger Glossy Accents to give me the shiny effect. I also use the Glossy Accents as a glue to hold my chipboard down onto my page, it sticks very strongly.

To finish of my Layout I have added some little pink flowers that I fussy cut from the patterned paper, added some journalling and it was finished.

A very simple yet effective end result.
Have you thought about packing for our Retreat yet? It is going to be SO much FUN and I personally cannot wait!

How are you all going with your double page Layout's this month?? We have had some terrific entries in so far!
Happy Scrapping

I Will Always Love You

Morning Everyone,

Well, I hope that the Easter Bunny found you all and you enjoyed your Easter!

I am here again to remind you about our April monthly challenge and to share with you another layout that I have created with the Kaisercraft P.S. I Love You collection.

Have you started creating your challenge entry? Entries close on the 30th of still have plenty of time if you haven't.

Remember this month is all about the double layout! A great way to scrap a sequence of photos! There is a sketch from PageMaps to follow.
You also need to include texture, stamping and some flowers (in any form you wish - be creative!).

You can enter your challenge via our blog using the InLinkz linkup, via our Facebook page or you can email it to Joanne at

I can't wait to see what you create.

When Jo first gave me the P.S. I Love You Collection I felt very overwhelmed. If you know me, ideas for pinks and all things girly when scrapbooking don't particularly come naturally.
I was glad though to be able to use these papers to highlight some of my wedding photos and other photos of Jason and I.

Whilst I yet again haven't followed the requirements of the April Challenge, I have loved playing around with some newer products and some colours that I don't necessarily always feel comfortable definitely getting out of my comfort zone!

Here is what I have created...

We had these photos taken whilst in Disney World, Florida in September 2015.

I started this layout with a blank canvas (White Cardstock) and added some of the new Tim Holtz - Distress Oxide Inks blending both Worn Lipstick and Iced Spruce. I love these inks and love what you can do with them. It is very hard to see in any of the photos but I then used a baby wipe and my Kaiser Mini Template - Rough Grid. The baby wipe took away the ink where I rubbed it and left a paler, and in some places, a bleached image from the template.

I then used some Impasto Gel Medium through the Kaiser Mini Template - Rough Grid which gives a clear see through appearance over the paler/bleached template.

I splattered some of the Kaiser Mist - Candy and the Prima Colour Bloom - Cotton Candy around the page.

I stamped with the Kaiser Clear Stamp - Flutter using the Gray Flannel Memento Ink.

Then using Art Alchemy - Acrylic Paint - Opal Magic Aqua - Rose, the Viva Precious Metal Colour - Pink, some Acrylic Paint - Black and the edge of my palette knife I added some lines.

I have once again been a little minimalistic in my use of papers and have stuck to using mainly the P.S. I Love You Collectables.
I added the title Love using the word from the sticker sheet. I needed to ink this with the Gray Flannel Memento Ink.

Well, whilst out of my comfort zone, I love how this layout turned out and mainly loved using lots of new products and colours. All of these are available at Scrapbookit!

Have you heard about our upcoming retreat? May 19-21 in Bright!
A weekend full of fun, plenty of laughs, great company, awesome food and plenty of scrapbooking.
We would love you to come. For more details head to the Online Store.

Thanks again for popping by...would love to hear what you think of my layout!
Be sure to pop back over the next few days to see what other awesome projects Jo and Jane have been creating!

Together Is A Beautiful Place To Be

Hello everyone!

Hope the Easter Bunny finds you all tonight and leaves you lots of yummy chocolate eggs!

I am back today to remind you about the challenge we have running for this month.
The following guidelines need to be followed:

* Use the PageMaps sketch
*Add Texture
*Add Flowers
*Add Stamping

Here is the sketch...

A great challenge for those of us who love to use more than one photo for our layouts!!

I am also back today to share with you another layout that I have created with the gorgeous
P.S. I Love You collection by Kaisercraft.
It is all about love this month!
Here is what I have come up with...

It doesn't cover many of the challenge requirements but I love using this paper collection. I was also having a play with some of my new mixed media products.
When I first mixed the colour paste for the background I had no layout in mind, I was just experimenting.
I used Modelling Paste and some Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Dust - Velvet. After mixing them together, I smeared it around the centre of the page.

I have added some splatters using the Kaiser Mist - Shiraz.

I have then layered and added some strips of the patterned papers and used lots of the gorgeous collectables. However, I have been quite minimalistic in my use of these.
The gorgeous lace strip is from the P.S. I Love You Sticker Sheet.
Isn't it very pretty?

I have finished with some cute little sequins that I had in my collection.

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at my layout and it has inspired you to get your craft on this weekend.
If you are after any of these products make sure you visit or email Joanne -
If Jo hasn't got what you need she is always more than happy to order them for you.

I hope that you enjoy your Easter tomorrow!

Kaisercraft - Wild Flower

Good Morning,
Happy monday everyone I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and even snuck in some crafting time. I am here to share my take on Mel's challenge this month which for me was right out of my comfort zone as I just 'Don't Do' double pages. But sometimes that is the fun of scrapbooking just challenging yourself and you certainly get a number of photo's scrapped at once.

This month I used the new Kaisercraft range 'WildFlower'. It is so lovely with all it's pastel colours and florals, just perfect for photo's of my grandaughter and the challenge.
So the challenge Mel set is to follow this double page sketch by PageMaps, to have some texture, add flowers and to do some stamping.

Here is my take

I have added some collectables for my flowers and title, I have used Distress Oxide Ink through a new mini stencil from Kaisercraft for the background and used Colourblast Paste 'Snow white' for some cute heart texture.

I have added this gorgeous chipboard heart from Scrapfx  spraying it with a Kaisercraft mist.

Here are a couple of close up's , I hope you are enjoying the challenge and I look forward to seeing your entry. Remember it closes on April 30th.

That's it for me today as I'm posting from my ph after loosing internet in the storms .
 Happy Scrapping

Happy Memories!

It's school holidays here in Victoria, my children and I are enjoying some much needed family time at the Beach. We have had some magnificent Autumn weather!
Mel's challenge this month is a double layout which should include Texture, Stamping and Flowers. What an Awesome and Challenging Challenge ;)

Here is my Layout.
This month I have worked with the Beautiful Kaisercraft Island Escape Collection.
I started with some craft paper for the background then layered some of the patterned papers to give me the beach effect that I was after.

It is quite hard to see but I have stamped in the corners using the Kaisercraft PinaColada Collection clear stamps and some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Pink. These stamps fitted in perfectly with this range. My gold strips down the bottom of the two pages I have done with some Colour Blast Paste in Bling and one of the new Kaisercraft Mini Stencils which is called Broken Lines.

My wooden chippies are part of the Kaisercraft Island Escape Collection which I have then inked once again using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in pink, I then added some Ranger Glossy Accents over the top to give me the shiny effect.

My little Travel, Relax and Adventure words I have used the Kaisercraft Travel Die with some sparkly glitter paper. I have added some Collectibles from my stash which helped to make up my flower element.

To finish off I have spritzed some Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain in Tarnished Brass.
I hope you have enjoyed my layout for this month and I look forward to seeing what you can all come up with!
