Celebrate Party Boy!

 Good Morning Everyone!

How nice is it that Spring has arrived? 

How perfect is this month's challenge for Spring...just what we needed to get out of the 'winter blues'

Jo has set a sketch and a very trendy mood board to inspire us this September. All you need to do now is head to your crafty space and create!
Here are the prompts for this month...

Jo has given me the gorgeous, bright Photo Play ~ Party Boy papers to create with this month.

They are so vibrant and lots of fun to use.

Here is the layout that I have created...

How gorgeous was my boy back then? Still is :)
These photos are from his 7th birthday party and the papers are just perfect for highlighting this special day for him.

There are two parts of the mood board that I took inspiration from for this layout.

The first was the circle pattern.

I started my layout by creating a background of different coloured circles using, yes you guessed it...my most favourite product at the moment, Colour Blast Shimmer Cubes.

I just love that I can create such vibrant, shimmery shapes with this awesome product.

I have used Apple of My Eye, Fire Engine, Singin the Blues, Just Blue, Sunshine for the circles. I have used some Dusty Charcoal to splatter the background.

The outline is done with a fine liner.

The second part of the mood board I took inspiration from was the cute little bunting at the bottom of the mood board. I have used some elastic twine and small parts of the patterned paper to create some bunting under the photo.

How cute is that little face???

I have used the gorgeous patterned paper and the Sticker Elements from the Photo Play Party Boy Collection to embellish and complete my layout.

I have also used this collection to create a birthday card for my nephew...

How gorgeous are the colours in this collection?
