Time for Feb/March Challenge

Welcome back everyone

I hope you were all spoilt by your special Valentine yesterday and had  fun creating something  for your special person.

The layout challenge this month is all about getting your hands dirty and having some fun with textures and paints. Your layout must incorporate the use of
  • A mask
  • String/Twine
  • Mist
  • This sketch (Thanks to Scrapbook Challenges)

Here is what I created using the new Kaisercraft - 'Base Coat', Kaisercraft Stamps, Texture Paste, Heidi Swapp Color Shine 'Mint Green', Crafters Workshop 'Mini cursive alpha' mask, Thickers, and Green Tara 'Wire string', all available instore now.  The star I have cut with my cricut using acetate.

For this month's card challenge Janene has asked for the following criteria to be added to your card of any theme.
  • Embossing
  • Rub-ons
  • A Quote
Here is my card I created for my partner for Valentines day using Pebbles Inc 'Seen&Noted, Kaisercraft card, rubons and key, Distress Ink, Provocraft 'Marg's Melodies' embossing folder and Whimsy Farm twine.

Now something new this month, we have decided to give our budding young scrappers a challenge to get into. Children must be under the age of 16 to enter and a special prize pack will be up for grabs.
So start sharing your stash and get the kids crafting!!

Kids Challenge: Follow this sketch using photos of something you did on the summer holidays.

All entries can be e-mailed to joanne@scrapbookit.com.au by the 14th March.

I can't wait to see all the wonderful projects that you and the Design team have come up with, so make sure you drop by and share with your crafty friends and families.

Have a great day
Jo
